The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) hosted the second World Maritime Technology Conference (WMTC) in partnership with 25 of the world’s leading maritime associations. The show was organised for the first time in San Francisco by The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME).

WMTC is held every three years and this year was scheduled to come to Europe. The conference and exhibition was held at the Queen Elizabeth Conference centre, London.

As exhibitors it gave us the opportunity to promote our KR fittings which are widely used within the maritime industry and demonstrate some of our recent applications.

It was interesting to meet leading representatives across the full range of maritime disciplines for a week of ideas exchange and networking.
