KR Tube Couplings

Systems that operate at high pressures and that are exposed to pressure pulsation, vibration and temperature cycling can test tube coupling to their limit leading to leakage or even failure.KR couplings are the effective couplings for joining tube in such systems for tube from 6 mm to 150 mm O/D.  KR allows you to avoiding welded joints, inert gas purging, pickling and x-ray testing – reducing installation time and cost

 

     
KR couplings use an 'O' ring to form a pressure seal between the body of the coupling and the outside surface of the tube. The tube is held in place by a collet compressed onto its outside surface. * No Pre Assembly or excessive tightening torque required.*

KR tube coupling are reusable as the compression of the collet is by means of an internally tapered nut or flange (on larger sizes) screwed onto the body of the coupling.
