Review of the Vickers Vane Pump product line from 2010

Here is a review of the Vickers Vane Pump product line from 2010:
Increased Water Glycol Ratings: Eaton recently upgraded the pressure ratings of the Vickers V-series Industrial Vane pumps from 125 bar to 172 bar, matching the current pressure rating for mineral oils. As pressures in fire hazardous applications have increased, so has the need for higher pressures from hydraulic components. As the only vane pump in the industry with full ratings for water glycol, the Vickers V-series vane pumps will be able to further penetrate the primary metals, die casting, and automobile assembly markets.
V20 Upgrades: We are very happy to announce the 210 bar option for the Vickers V20 pump in all displacements! Signified with the -063 suffix, the pressure upgrade opens up many new opportunities in both the mobile and industrial markets for one of EatonĂ¢??s greatest legacy products. A second V20 upgrade consists of the marriage between EatonĂ¢??s vane pumps and industrial valves: the V20D. Eliminating valve sub-plates, hose, and fittings, the V20D offers a compact, robust solution for compacting and baling applications, as well as limits installation costs for the OEM/distributor.
ATEX Certification: In August 2010, Eaton announced they have received ATEX certification on their Vickers Vane Pumps! The II2GDb/c/k/T4 certification aligns with the Vickers Piston Pump ATEX certification from 2009, allowing a maximum surface temperature of 257F (125C) in dust explosion areas and applies to the V-Series, VQ(H)-Series, and VMQ-Series pumps in all displacements, frame sizes, multiple pumps, and through-drive combinations.
Increasing legislation and recent environmental accidents have placed a greater emphasis on safety in potentially explosive environments. ATEX certification allows penetration into oil and gas markets worldwide, before this certification becomes mandatory. As the only major ATEX certified vane pump manufacturer in the world, Eaton will ensure sustainability in the oil and gas market for many years to come.
