Throughout the years we have developed into a diverse business being recognised as one of the UK’s leading hydraulics suppliers under pinned by a family feel atmosphere and high levels of customer service.

Back to the beginning

Primary Fluid Power was born over 40 years ago in the heart of Liverpool City docks as a small family run business and slowly but surely, we developed into the PLC backed company we are today.

Along the way we have acquired well-known industry names including Alboroco, Hi Power UK, TSL and Berendsen. Bringing these established businesses into the fold has not only gave us their collective knowledge and experience, but also the ability to offer their complete product range and services.

Industry wide support

As a member of Fluidpower Group UK Ltd we have access to the knowledge, strengths and stock of 22 industry leading fluid power businesses across Europe, all of whom bring their own unique industry specialism. Through this collaboration we can offer products, services and advice throughout the fluid power spectrum either directly or indirectly.

Essential brands backed up with technical knowledge

By far our greatest achievement has been building a network of high-quality brands whose products we are proud to distribute. Our longest standing partner is with the Eaton brand, who we have represented for over 35 years. Their full range of pumps, motors, cylinders and more have been a staple of our product offering and the product Primary has become synonymous with.

Not only does this long-standing partnership mean we can offer the widest possible range of Eaton products, but we also have the technical strength in depth meaning that we can help you to decide exactly the parts you require ultimately solving your full application needs.

We are also hugely proud to partner with Honeywell on their Sensors and Switches range, Roquet with their full range of gear pumps and motors and partner with Parker Hannifin on their full range of fluid power products.
