The new era of Primary Fluid Power

Our vision for 2021

At Primary Fluid Power we like to embrace change with open arms, as change breeds growth and development within our business allowing us to offer you, our customers with the best possible service.

New branding

The Primary Fluid Power (PFP) brand has a strong reputation in the marketplace for knowledge, quality and service and to coincide with the move to the new premises, it was also time to give the brand a modern uplift. This new, modern, fresh brand is being used across all platforms, signage and marketing materials and demonstrates our drive and vision to continually improve and evolve as a business.

New premises

During the most challenging period this industry has ever faced, at the height of the lockdown period between April and May 2020, the PFP team and all it’s products moved premises from Knowsley to a brand-new purpose built facility within our European Distribution hub in Skelmersdale. The main reason for the move was to strengthen our service and distribution capabilities . Firstly, all our products are now shipped from the hub in Skelmersdale, which has improved the speed at which you receive goods and also giving you the ability to order next day deliveries on orders placed up to 10pm. Secondly, we are fully benefiting from the new engineering and modifications centre also based at Skelmersdale, which has increased the speed at which we can deliver modified products. It has also allowed us to forge close relationships with PLC colleagues we rely on to support us with these key commercial activities.

Looking forward through 2021

With the launch of our new website we are ushering in a new era of the Primary Fluid Power story. Our goals remain the same; to provide you with the hydraulic solutions and the peace of mind you need. The change comes as we aim to streamline how you interact with us, making information more readily available and our services easier to find online.
